How many of us have said at some time “I do not have the faith to go through this situation”? We can think that faith is an award given only to the most disciplined people with a lot of knowledge of church doctrine or it is born when we attend lots of meetings. But faith cannot be bargained for or paid for with money in order to receive Gods promises or His goodness. In reality faith is a gift from God which we can’t buy from a shop. You already have a measure of faith.Everybody has a level of faith and believes in something even in everyday matters. When you drink coffee at a café or buy bread at a bakery, you trust fully that the people serving you have not poisoned the coffee or bread!  Even you need faith when you sit on your chair that this chair will be strong enough to carry your weight. We have a choice, what do we believe in and in whom do we trust? Different people believe in different things; they believe in their own knowledge, in their company, in their friends, in God, in magic or in what they watch on the TV. 

The truth is that faith does not come from head knowledge but it comes from relationship which is connected to your heart. The fruit of faith or the results of faith will not be seen if you wait to see the manifestation first and then start believing and acting, it has to be the other way around. You need to make the decision to believe what God promises in His word, what God has told you and what you have learned about His character during your times of close fellowship with Him, only then can your faith finally be born by the power of the Holy Spirit.
