Life is full of questions…
Will I bear this situation?
Will I have strength to overcome this challenge?
Will the challenges and the problems ever stop?
Who cares about me?
How about my future?
Will God forgive me?
Will God be faithful to me?
In the storm of problems and in the time of unsettled feelings
God says with a peaceful voice:
”Do you live in constant fear every day
and is the pressure pulling you down?
Please know my heart and listen to Me, my dear one.
Lift up your eyes and look at me,
I care and I love you with all my heart.
Are my arms too short to take care of you?
Do I lack the strength to deliver you from harm?
Will my love not be enough to forgive you?
I clothe the flowers with the beautiful colors
in the spring time and through out summer.
I make season after season different cheering up your days.
Still, you are more valuable than all of that.
You are my heart; I care about you as the pupil of my eyes.
If you feel hurt, I myself feel hurt.
If you feel happy, my heart feels happy too.
If you feel sad, I feel sad just as you feel.
I will not forget you, I will take hold of your hand.
I’m God - your father and there is no other God apart from me.
Be at peace in My care and

If you notice that your loved one has a burden or feels upset you could ask questions like these: (You may apply these questions as well to your children, teens and to elderly people.)

- What can I do to make you feel better?

- What can I do to help you?

- What do you want me to pray for?

- Please let me know when you are ready to share your heart with me and I will make sure to be a good listener.

It will help a lot if you focus on truly listening. Even more so if from your partner’s or children’s perspective you gave reason for the upset feelings. Listen and try to understand your loved one’s perspective. Rest in the fact, that God loves you. You don’t need to defend yourself to make yourself right. What you need is to understand their situation and to express your understanding for the situation and feelings. (BOL)

You already have a measure of faith

Everybody has a level of faith and believes in something even in everyday matters. When you drink coffee at a café or buy bread at a bakery, you trust fully that the people serving you have not poisoned the coffee or bread! Even you need faith when you sit on your chair that this chair will be strong enough to carry your weight. We have a choice, what do we believe in and in whom do we trust? Different people believe in different things; they believe in their own knowledge, in their company, in their friends, in God, in magic or in what they watch on the TV.

How to increase the faith you have? You can ask Him to add to the measure of faith you already have, and maintain it with a closer relationship with Him by seeking daily to follow His guidance. This is done through reading His words written in the Bible and by listening to His voice when He speaks to your heart. If this is something you are not used to do, again you need to ask God for that sensitivity to recognize His voice. You can ask God right now: “Father, please add to the measure of my faith that I already have, I thank you that you will do this. Also give me excitement to diligently maintain a close relationship with You by talking to You daily, and since I know of how much You love me I will joyfully follow Your good guidance. So please give me the sensitivity to recognize Your voice. I believe that You are alive and that You speak to me. So I trust that from now on I will be able to hear Your voice. Thank you for that.
